Brian and Christine look forward to welcoming you to their country home. Set on the edge of the Purbeck Hills in Dorset midway between the ferry ports of Poole and Weymouth, we are conveniently situated for everything that those resorts have to offer, as well as the more local areas of Wareham, Swanage and Lulworth. We are also less than 10 minutes drive from Bovington with its Tank Museum and Saddle Club, and Monkey World.
Binnegar Lodge B & B is a modern centrally-heated house with all the facilities that you would expect: large en suite double rooms, king size beds, freeview TV, tea and coffee making. Guests also have exclusive use of the lounge/ breakfast room and a private lawned garden with seating. Set in its own grounds of two and a half acres with glorious views over the Purbeck hills to the front and heathland and forest to the rear. You can watch for the deer, foxes and rabbits that arrive in the paddocks to help the horses eat down our grass. We also have numerous birds in residence. Nearby there are many footpaths and bridleways which you can use and which are not as highly frequented as some, thereby allowing you the feeling that you really have "got away from it all".
Although we are not adapted for wheelchairs , we have a stair lift to help those with some mobility issues.
Horses and other pets are welcome by prior arrangement. We have ample parking both for cars, trailers and horseboxes.
Evening meals are available from £10pp (bring your own wine). We also suggest The Seven Stars (4 miles).
Our rates for B & B are: Large ensuite room £65 for double occupancy, £55 for single. Standard ensuite room £60 for double occupancy, £50 for single.
We are open all year including Christmas and New Year.
